I ran across this a few weeks back and thought I would go ahead and post them here. Funny Stuff.

Looks like the "Day 1" or the first comic from the Heroes Happen Here series has been released. This comic was released by Microsoft and Seagate so make sure and signup for the RSS Feed to receive the comic everyday of the working week.

Here is Episode 3 of 1-800-MAGIC. Just too Funny.

In the tradition of Red vs Blue, Rooster Teeth has come out with a new video series called 1-800-MAGIC based on the new Xbox 360 game Shadowrun. It was so funny, I just had to post it here. This is episode 1 and 2, so there should be many to follow.

I was reading my blogs yesterday morning and ran across this comic from Penny Arcade. I've played a bit of Xbox 360 and have run across this guy a few times. Usually I just avoid him, but this would be a nice option too.

No I never worked for Apple, but the guy in this video did. He worked for Apple's customer telephone support line and was fired two days after he read a poem about their customer support center for the company talent show. I can only imagine it was the comment about "Stupid, rude American customers" during his ode to the Canadian FedEx Lady.  Either way, it damn funny.

Now don't get me wrong, I am a Windows guy and do run Vista, but I do enjoy the of the Apple Commericals. I found this one to be cute and wanted to share it.

Stolen Sidekick on Ebay

I am sure a lot of you have heard about the Stolen Sidekick story by now. If you haven't, you can catch up at Stolen SideKick. The whole story is there and an interesting story it is.

Now, that said, if you have been following the story and have way too much money laying around, you can bid on the very same stolen sidekick. As of this posting the bid was at $2,250.00, for a three hundred dollar item. 

The auction is at Ebay , but beware there have been other people trying to impersonate Evan and his sidekick.

Update 07/04/2006:  Bid has gone to $3150.00 now.......

Update 07/10/2006:  Can you believe it? The Stolen Sidekick went for $3600.00 on Ebay.

I've noticed that in several places (most prominently, Help-About),
there is the product version, build number, etc. Please have your team
remove this information in our next release.

The product version and build number are necessary to identify what
release the customer has. This is also key in our testing and quality
process.

Couldn't you determine this information some other way? We don't want
the customers knowing this information and need it removed.

We really can't remove it from the product, but, if you'd like, we can
hide it further. However, it is very discrete as is: it only appears in
the About dialog, release notes, and change log. But no matter what, we
will need to keep it accessible for support.

Either way, I don't really understand the request. Almost every software
program ever made has release information like this. Why would you
want it removed?

We can't be at all accessible to the client, we'll just have to find
another way.

The reason is simple: when they see  "Version 2.8 (build 448)," they
will think that it took us 28 releases and over *four hundred* builds
to get right.

conveying to our customers. A-----, please make sure it's removed in
